Jon Kono began his real estate career in the 1980’s and was involved in many of developments on the windward side of Oahu during that time.

In 1990 Jon joined First Hawaiian Bank’s Trust and Real Estate Department, becoming a company Vice President. There, he gained a comprehensive understanding of residential sales, trust sales and commercial sales across all the islands of Hawaii.

After 18 years with First Hawaiian Bank, Jon became an independent realtor and joined ReMax Honolulu. He later opened his own Brokerage, Kono Properties, where he proudly continues to serve his many repeat clients.

Today, Jon serves both his real estate clients and his community with his wealth of knowledge and experience in Hawaii real estate and as a member of Adventist Health Castle’s Board of Directors.
